Chris Wan is a very experienced Senior IT Program and Project Manager with over 30 years experience in project delivery and program management having worked in many large enterprise organisations, industry sectors and Government agencies during his career. Chris specialises in delivering high value, large scale IT transformation, application and infrastructure projects and programs of work for large multinational organisations across IT, financial and telco industries, notably MUFG, Allianz, IAG, QBE, NBN Co and in NSW Government, most notably NSW Police and icare NSW. Chris has extensive experience in all project management methodologies & disciplines, stakeholder management, vendor management and in the full SDLC lifecycle. He has a strong track record for delivering highly complex and challenging projects within budget and schedule. Chris’ key skills and experience include:

· Strategic Business Transformation – Chris has extensive experience in delivering transformation projects as part of large programs or bodies of work through full lifecycle from business case stage to obtaining funding and delivery. Strong focus on understanding strategic objectives and benefits and ensuring these objectives and benefits are delivered at the conclusion of the project.

· Outcomes Driven – Chris is focused on strategic and aligned project outcomes and is highly experienced in hands-on delivery using SAFe Agile framework, Waterfall (PMBOK, Prince II) and hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies for software application, system integration and infrastructure projects. Very experienced in the SDLC and the use of a variety of project management tools and reporting formats. Due to his experience, Chris can adapt his delivery style to deliver challenging and highly complex projects.

· Stakeholder Engagement – Chris takes a consultative, pragmatic and collaborative approach with all stakeholders. He advocates early stakeholder engagement and has the ability to manage the critical path whilst taking stakeholders on a positive journey to achieve quality outcomes.

· Vendor Management – Chris has extensive experience in managing, directing and working with large enterprise vendors such as IBM, Fujitsu, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, Cognizant, Telstra, Optus, Cap Gemini and Dimension Data to deliver complex solutions.

· Reporting – Chris is skilled in providing full and detailed reporting from project status level to steering committee and various C-level reporting as required. He works closely with PMO’s across all organisations and is experienced with specific Government gate review requirements and formats.

· Innovation and Thinking on Your Feet – Chris adopts a strength through flexibility and “thinking outside the box” approach to innovation, planning, problem solving and decision making

Outside of work, Chris is an avid photographer, keen fisherman, amateur chef and traveller.
