New Role!
đź“ŁWe are pleased to share that Michael Phelan APM has been appointed Director of Global Intelligence Services at Global Consortium Group.
Mike brings more than four decades of senior leadership experience across intelligence, law enforcement, regulatory oversight and national‑level governance. His career includes serving as CEO of Australia’s national criminal intelligence agency and Director of the Australian Institute of Criminology, as well as Deputy Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police with responsibility for major operational, intelligence and high‑tech crime portfolios.
In his new role at GCG, Mike will lead our global intelligence capability, providing strategic insight, sector analysis and narrative development across our international programmes. He will also support cross‑region initiatives, governance forums and strategic planning as we continue to expand our global footprint.
