GCG is thrilled to welcome Dr. Jessenia Ogunade as our newest consortium member. A former NYPD officer holding a Ph.D. in International Psychology, Dr. Ogunade merges deep field experience with academic research to transform leadership, workforce resilience, and organisational culture across public-safety institutions.
Dr. Jessenia Ogunade works at the intersection of public safety, leadership, organisational culture and human performance. A former NYPD police officer with a Ph.D. in International Psychology, she brings practitioner experience, research, teaching and organisational leadership together to help public-safety organisations strengthen the people and cultures responsible for delivering their mission. Her work is particularly focused on leadership development, women in law enforcement, gender-responsive practice, workforce resilience, culturally responsive leadership and the organisational impact of prolonged exposure to high-pressure environments. Rather than approaching these challenges solely as individual wellbeing concerns, Jessenia helps organisations examine the leadership practices, culture, systems, communication and professional development that influence workforce performance and resilience.
