Member Spotlight: Rob Delaney

Rob Delaney is a highly respected figure in Australian and international law enforcement, known for his leadership in counterterrorism and intelligence collaboration.

Over a 32-year career in government service, he played a pivotal role in establishing and managing Australia’s Joint Counter Terrorism Teams, strengthening partnerships between law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and government bodies. As the founding Executive Director of the Australian Counter Terrorism Centre, he helped shape the nation’s approach to counterterrorism strategy and coordination.

Rob has consulted for various government departments, focusing on leadership, governance, and security planning for major events and infrastructure. His dedication to strengthening collaboration between law enforcement and the private sector earned him the prestigious Australian Security Medal in 2021.
